"Small / short version of the 602. . . I would just buy the longer version but the short pencil (cut one a bit one in half and you get 2, lol) does come in handy for drawing with the side and the eraser in your palm."
"I love the size and feel of this short pencil from Blackwing. This pencil writes smoothly. It's dark enough to be used on colored paper (see photo). It's the perfect size to carry with my first generation Levenger Pocket Briefcase even with the Blackwing tip protector on it. To get a sense of the size, this is a new, just sharpened 602 and I'm an XL glove size. If you want a little more length, of course, there is the Blackwing pencil extender. Love this product and will be including it in my travel supplies."
