"The Circa Jotlet , style and size, has been my most useful Levenger product for decades! I am now retired and have a very tight budget; however, I was able to purchase the Bomber Jacket finish which is my favorite. Luckily, Levenger carries a large assortment of colors which is great because I own so many, and can easily identify which is holding what information. I have many interests/hobbies etc. for which to keep quick jotted notes and references. Levenger also offers a Jotlet Assortment Refill of Jotlet pages: ruled, dot grid, and grid. As a Creative, these choices expand the creative array one follows, such as quilting, nature information, card playing and score recording, tracking other artists and recording their ownership of patterns, ideas,…everything!!! AND, when these ideas need expansion, Levenger has my next favorite size, the Circa Junior; AND larger. It is a very creative company! The quality is outstanding. Everything is well made. Some products and colors and sizes are professional in appearance; some are casual, some calendar items display thoughtful quotes; some are seasonally inspired. Levenger also offers informative booklets that support writing the novel you’ve been thinking about, or your own life review. I do not work for, or have any monetary connection with this company. I simply have benefited from the support their products have provided during my career and now in my retirement."

My Favorite Little Notebook—With a Few DIY Tweaks

"The Bomber Jacket Circlet Jotlet from Levenger has quickly become my favorite notebook. I had mine monogrammed, and I have to say—it looks much better in person than the web preview suggested. The full-grain leather is rich and tactile, the size is incredibly portable, and the Circa system is just as flexible and satisfying in miniature as it is in its full-sized counterparts. I swapped out the standard black plastic discs for brass ones I had on hand, which really leveled up the overall aesthetic. (It would’ve been nice to have an option to upgrade the discs during purchase, but I’m sure those original plastic ones will come in handy someday. ) I use a mix of Levenger’s own inserts and some from other brands, all punched beautifully with Levenger’s sleek portable discbound punch. The modularity of the Circa system is a joy to use and, even at 3x5 size, it feels endlessly customizable. That said, I do have a couple of wishes. I’ve rigged my own elastic closure and pen holder, but they’re clunky compared to Levenger’s typically elegant design sensibility. A built-in strap and pen loop would elevate this from near-perfect to indispensable. Still, this tiny jotlet punches way above its weight. It’s stylish, practical, and easy to carry anywhere. If you’re a fan of Levenger’s Circa system, or just love great design in small packages, this one’s worth adding to your lineup."
