"The pen loop is so wide it will not hold a regular pen - not even Levenger pens. It is in the center which doesn't help if trying to use the clip on your pen, unless you like the pen sticking out one side. The pen just falls out no matter what you do. Then the loop also gets in the way of the paper. It seems defective to me and I am returning it. What a sad waste of time. Poor design or execution on otherwise nice pad."

"Great product! I love this discbound steno pad. My pain points with normal notebooks is the coils getting smashed when in a bag or with normal use. the discbound system is a great alternative to that and levenger products feel fantastic in hand. the pocket and the pen holder are useful details as well."

"I was going to wait until this item came in blue, red or purple but finally I stopped waiting and got the black leather steno pad. It was excellent quality and having the discs at the top was very convenient for "on the go" ideas and lists. I make sure to bring it with me."
"Wish this cover came in colors — have had the paper and starter cover and been waiting for a leather cover. This size paper is great for travel and for my needlework notes. The quality of the case is the same Levenger quality of all my other covers; and the paper is as well. I am only sorry they only have it in black and question why they show it in tan — when there are no colors available."

"I absolutely love this notebook. The size is perfect to fit into my (large-ish) purse, and I love that there's a pen loop! The discs are up and out of the way, so my hand doesn't bump into them when I'm writing. This cover also makes a perfect, convenient writing platform and gives the notebook structure. The paper (I use the Bullet Journal refill) is gorgeous and takes any kind of ink well. (I'm using a gel pen. ) I also like that I can set it up like an easel on my desk for easy transcription! I'd love to see more colors/materials for covers for this notebook! The black is nice, but I'd love to be able to switch things up. I'd also love to be able to get a . 25 inch grid paper refill. Please keep making and expanding this product line!"
