Description

Reviews

Great shelves - but bring back Dark Cherry!

"I've purchased 12 of these over the years, and they are great! I love the design, very flexible. I even built my own version of one (in dark cherry) as a built-in in a knee wall next to a bed. I'd love to buy a few more, but mine are all either the (old) dark mahogany or (newer) dark cherry -- so the natural cherry won't work for me. So, please bring back the dark cherry."

Dissatisfied!!!

"I have been unable to assemble one of the boxes for a month because of missing parts!!"

Sturdy

"This is an add on to previous purchase of a bookbox."

Bring Back Dark Cherry!

"I have bought eight of these and absolutely love them, but what has happened to drank cherry? I am forced to go to other retailers to see if any second-hand ones might be available. Please bring back the dark cherry as an option!"

— Mary (5/5)

I like the book box

"I like the book box but the workmanship is not as good as the ones I purchased a few years ago."

— Mark H. (4/5)

Excellent

"Great bookcase and easy to put together. Please bring back the dark cherry. I want more of these but they need to match the one I already have."

— LEDH (5/5)

Nice book case

"Very good bookcase, perfect for small spaces."

— Don L. (4/5)

Love your bookcases!

"I have had several bookcases by Levenger for several years. They are adaptable in any space and their simple beauty has endured with minimal care. They fit in to space and room decoration with unobtrusive ease."

— Margaret H. (5/5)

Bookbox

"I bought two book boxes to add to my current range. One of them had uneven shelf holes on the interior, which forces me to have a higher shelf than I would otherwise. This quality problem was a first for me for all the levenger I have bought over the years."

— Josephine C. (5/5)

The perfect bookcase

"I had been looking for a not too deep bookcase for a small office space for a while, and this one was perfect. First I bought one to assess its quality and how it fit. Then I bought a second one to put right beside it."

— Jane W. (5/5)

Q&A

I recently purchased a dark cherry book box, and came back looking for more. But I don't see any. Did you give up on them, or will they be back in stock at some point?
Hi, Regrettably this color was discontinued .
I need the dark cherry medium bookboxes. When will they be available?
They will be launching at the end of July!
Would like to see a dark cherry option and shelving kits.....
Dark Cherry color is arriving in July. We don’t offer any extra shelving at this time.
I'm a long-time customer who has purchased many pieces of furniture (desk, barristers, cubis ) all in dark cherry and I'm wondering why the medium bookbox is not available in that color. If it was, I'd be buying two.
At this time we have no plans on bringing out a dark cherry version. This may change in the future but for now the only color available is our best seller.
