Reviews

Beautiful Pen!

"I was looking for a different Retro 51 when I saw this one and decided to get it instead. I fell in love with the vintage look at once. I do not care for roller ball pens so I switched out the refill with a Levenger ball point. The pen writes like a dream. Of course I had to get the matching notebooks. Do not let this pen pass you by."

— Sharon (5/5)

Beautiful Pen

"This is truly a beautiful pen. Nice weight to it and I love how smooth it writes. As an Emily Dickinson fan, I appreciate the attention to detail and the story behind the design. I also like how a portion of the sale is donated to the Emily Dickinson Museum as I am an avid supporter of institutes that make it possible to preserve important historical materials, such as Emily's. This is my first Retro51 and I'll likely be adding more to my collection."

— S. M. (5/5)

Beautiful, but I need a finer point

"I gave this to my sister who is passionate about Gardening. She also loves pretty things. She loved the look of the pen but hated how wide the tip was. She said it was like writing with a magic marker. I wish you had fine tip refills."

— Peter W. (1/5)

Fantastic!

"This is a beautiful pen, packaged in a very giftable keepsake box, and it writes so smoothly! I love it!"

— Jill C. (5/5)

One of My Favs

"I LOVE this pen! Retro 51s are probably one of my favorite if not my favorite pens. They feel so good in my hand, not too heavy, not too light and the smoothness of the writing is phenomenal. I love how dark and pigmented the black ink is on my paper. I am truly addicted to these pens! Highly recommend!!"

— Beth A. (5/5)

My traveling pen!

"One of my favorite Retro 51 pens ever! I keep it in my travel notebook so it goes around the world with me. Refilled with the Retro 51 blue refill, just beautiful! I always get compliments when I'm writing notes with this pen on my cruises. Love, love love."

— Diane L. (5/5)

"My sister told me it was beautiful and the pen writes beautifully"

— Brian (5/5)

Inspiring Design for E. D. Fans

"A unique design that any Dickenson Fan will appreciate. Just remember, that when it’s time to replace the Retro 510 Tornado rollerball cartridge it’s critically important to use a “Capless” cartridge like the "Schmidt 8126 Short Capless” A standard rollerball cartridge is not appropriate for this capless pen."

— Nicholas Y. (5/5)

Great Addition

"While I never intended to collect Retro 51 pens, I seem to find excuses to add to what I already have. This one is a classic. Love Emily Dickinson’s poetry, so why wouldn’t I love the pen? As usual, very well made, writes like a dream, and fits my hand like a glove. I love it."

— Emily C. (5/5)

My favorite pen!

"Love the roses designs and writes like a dream. Already had one just like it but wanted another for my purse. Definitely recommended."

— Candace A. (5/5)
