"This is perfection! I embroider nearly every day and have since I was six. This lap desk holds everything I need right at my fingertips and lies flat. My sorted threads and scissors stay organized and handy, and I can clip a light to the edge. I considered this purchase for nearly a year, and I wish I'd bought it long ago. I am delighted with this desk."
"Great! Very comfortable when in use and fits perfectly with my easy chair. Very sturdy and well designed!"
"I had purchased a lap desk years ago that had a handle, lap cushion and straps to tuck in papers. This new one is much larger and has none of the things mentioned above. It’s also too big to use in my chair because it doesn’t fit inside the chair arms and barely sits in top of the arm chair. I tried to return it but that didn’t work. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money on it. It does have a nice finish even if it’s not solid wood but particle board. I don’t see it lasting very ling if used daily."
"I don’t appreciate the Logo and gooey sticker on the recerse side of my lap desk."
"The lap desk has become an important tool in my arsenal of work-at-home conveniences. The elastic bands are a great feature."
"I have owned a couple of these over the years, and would buy a new one like a shot if it came with the old stand. Even at an extra cost. Without the stand, the desk is very ungainly to store when not in use."
"I like how this supports my laptop when I am in my favorite chair. It works as described. It is my second time purchasing this item."
"The lap desk provides a solid surface to write on and to utilize my laptop. The surface is large enough to spread papers out to do real work, and it looks good. This is the second one I’ve purchased over the years."
"The lap desk is a lovely piece of wood that is not too heavy nor is it flimsy. The bungie straps are a handy addition."
"Nice wide desktop area. I love that it rests on the chair arms and not my legs. Lightweight but sturdy. Nice finish. Design is patented. I found similar for much cheaper but they had handle holes cut out each side. I was worried the holes would be where my elbows would rest and that would annoy me. So i went with this even though it’s pricey and do not regret the decision."
