Disappointing Experience
"Having had nothing but the most positive experience with Levenger writing products, I was surprised at how poorly the anti-gravity refill performs. Between uses the cartridge oozes a small amount ink out of the tip, such that I have to wipe it off with a tissue every time before use. Otherwise it starts by leaving an initial gooey mess on the paper. Having to wipe it every time is frustrating, but making it even worse is the fact that, after wiping it, I have to essentially "jump-start" the ink flow before the pen will write at all. Even then, at times it will leave blobs of ink. All in all a truly frustrating experience, inconsistent with what I have come to expect from Levenger products. Unfortunately, with the time taken before using it and then trying to make it work, I've exceeded the generous 1-year warranty."

Great for writing at an angle
"I use a Levenger notepad and notepad holder daily to write lists and notes. Since it is in my lap at an angle I was having problems with ink in my pen running out. Solution: Levenger anti-gravity refills in my ballpoint pen. They are fabulous! Now I can write at any angle anywhere. The flow and feel of the writing is very smooth and bold as well. I will only use this type of refills in my pen from now on."
Depressurized in my hands
"Both of the refills in the pack depressurized in my hands when I tried to use them, releasing all of their ink. (It was l I had squeezed a line of ink colored toothpaste.) If you buy them, be sure to remove the cap in a safe place, such as over a paper towel in case this happens."

"These pens can write upside down with ease. They also last a very long time. No gobs of ink. However, I have discovered that if you store the refills for too long they will go dry and skip. So don't buy any more than two at a time."
Fails to Meet Expectations
"Was looking forward to my first Levenger pen as I love the Circa product line. The ballpoint option was a good price point for me to try something new. As I often take notes in odd places (wherever inspiration finds me), I ordered the anti-gravity refills. Unfortunately, I was under whelmed by the writing experience once I had pen in hand. The first thing I noticed is that the pen "skips" while forming the initial stroke, the ink taking time to "warm up" and flow properly. This leaves the first word that you put to paper looking weak and poorly formed. Second, the color of the ink once the pen is properly writing is more what I would call a medium grey, not the rich black I was expecting. The contrast of the Anti-G ink on paper (Levenger's Circa refill) makes for unnecessary eye strain (at least for me). In the end, I believe that I will go back to my Pilot EasyTouch until I find something new to try again, hopefully with better results."

- Are these refills interchangeable with CA2189, APP911, and P900?
- All of these are ballpoint refills and will work with our ballpoint pens. APP911 is the standard refill for all however PR1295 is great for writing on walls, quick on the run or if you don't have a great writing surface and are walking and writing regularly.
