Reviews

Poor quality, not real wood, would never recommend

"The fit and finish and quality over all of this product is horrible. When opening the top, they both rub together, which has already caused some of the finish to scrape off. This is not even real wood, and there are some random marks on the finish as though it was mishandled before it was even packaged. This is complete junk. I would never recommend this to anyone. This is basically less than IKEA quality as far as I’m concerned."

— Scott H. (4/5)

Pretty way to reduce clutter

"I got this to replace a larger table in a tight space in my living room. It’s pretty and functional, much more efficient than the table it replaced. The hidden compartment keeps little stuff nearby without the visual clutter, and the shelf below keeps books and pads organized, again reducing clutter. I like it a lot."

— Carol M. (5/5)

Good furniture/ poor service.

"Table is as advertised and is fine. The returns process is challenging, expensive, and different from every other online retailer in my experience, and will limit my interest in future purchases."

— Austin T. (3/5)

Sorry I bought this

"Looked like a good idea, but anything set on top has to be moved to open the storage flaps. Opening one flap? The inside doesn’t go all the way to the other side. Looks good, but not really functional as storage … whatever is put there will likely be forgotten. Perhaps the drawer version is a better choice."

— Spry (1/5)

Pleased

"I'm very happy with this purchase. The finish matches my craftsman living room furniture perfectly."

Space Saver

"Stylish and functional. Well made. Shipped quickly and extremely well packaged. Would recommend to others."

— Sam G. (5/5)

Perfect little table

"We needed a couple of small tables next to our sofa, these are perfect and great value."

— Chris R. (5/5)

Nice table with lame finish quality

"The size, shape, and functionality of this table is great. The quality, however, is not amazing -- the two sides of the top along the hing are noticeably misaligned, and there are visible flaws in the lamination and finish."

— Meredith S. (3/5)

Nice

"Perfect for my needs. Quality piece"

— Toni T. (5/5)

I love these tables are

"I love these tables are very well built. Great finished and I love them to be set besides every sofa I have in my three houses. Love them I just ordered two more."

Q&A

What are the specifics of the cherry veneer surface finish—a lacquer, polyurethane, oil, or another protective coating? and can you also recommend the best care products for that particular finish, is Howard feed-n-wax OK?
The cherry veneer surface is finished with NC lacquer (nitrocellulose lacquer). For care and maintenance, we recommend using a dedicated furniture wax designed for lacquered wood surfaces. This helps maintain the finish while providing a thin protective layer that can offer some additional water and stain resistance. Regarding Howard Feed-N-Wax, we recommend checking with the manufacturer to confirm that it is suitable for use on NC lacquer before applying it.
Will the top stay lifted if you dont hold it up? Thinking it would be good to hold drink in it without worrying about spilling on rug
Yes, the lid should stay open (it has kitchen cabinet type hinge). Or you may want to consider the new No Room Convertible Cart, which has a tray on top with walls to keep cup in place.

What are the dimensions of the table. It does not specify inches - feet, etc?
