Inspired by golf pencils, Blackwing 602 Shorts are about half the size of a regular Blackwing pencil and fit easily in your pocket or bag for travel, sketching and taking notes on the go. (Of course, they’re perfect for tallying golf scores as well.) As always, Blackwing means quality and distinctiveness—each pencil features the popular firm graphite core, a gold “Half the Pressure, Twice the Speed” imprint on the barrel, a gunmetal grey finish and the iconic square Blackwing ferrule with pink eraser. Finally A Travel Friendly Blackwing Pencil

"I love the size and feel of this short pencil from Blackwing. This pencil writes smoothly. It's dark enough to be used on colored paper (see photo). It's the perfect size to carry with my first generation Levenger Pocket Briefcase even with the Blackwing tip protector on it. To get a sense of the size, this is a new, just sharpened 602 and I'm an XL glove size. If you want a little more length, of course, there is the Blackwing pencil extender. Love this product and will be including it in my travel supplies."
