"Pleasantly surprised by the dot grid. Will be hard to go back to normal grid paper when sketching and drawing. The paper is of sufficient thickness, weight, and stiffness to prevent bleed through and curl with extensive Pilot v5 use. The grain is good enough for a sketch quality coloring and shading. Over all a great value for concept development drawings and illustrations in a small field notebook."

"The quality of the paper seperate this pad from what we used to buy at the office supply store. The dots are better than I thought as I wanted grids, but now prefer the dots. I not only use this for my daily notes and jotting but to give notes to co-workers. The quality of the paper in their hand and power of the hand-written word can not be duplicated in a text or email."

High quality product

"I thought I’d give the dot grid layout a try after years of using lined grids. I found that dot grids don’t provide enough guidance and structure when writing, and seldom result in a straight line (and I am very precise in my writing/lettering, etc.). I much prefer the lined grid format as it is much more versatile for me (for taking notes, checklists, drawing, diagramming, equations, calligraphy, and more). However, for those of you that enjoy using dot grids you won’t be disappointed. The quality of the paper, binding, dot color, and spacing is excellent! I’m looking forward to a lined grid version some day."
