Looks beautiful and writes wonderfully

"This is a beautiful pen, with excellent weight and handling. It writes beautifully as well. It has quickly become one of my go-to pens."

Beautifully writing fountain pen & just as pretty

"Just received my Larimar fountain pen with fine nib this morning and have already inked it up and been writing with it. The swirls on it are just as gorgeous as my Larimar rollerball. I worried I would get one without a lot of swirls to it, but nope - swirls everywhere! Not having ordered a fountain pen from Levenger before, I wasn't sure how their different nibs would write, so I went with the fine as my handriting is a bit on the heavier side and I thought this would help change that a little. And it did! The fine nib is absolutely perfect - the ink flows well, no scratching, no skipping (I am using a cartridge though and not the converter as I am waiting on the bottled ink I picked to go with this. ) The size and weight of the pen are perfect I couldn't be happier with my first fountain pen from Levenger. The only negative - and this will not apply to everyone - is I can't tell this from my rollerball without opening them. I do wish there was some tiny little thing different about them that would help with that. A mark on the clip or something. But that is not a negative that means any starts off. Will definitely buy more True Writer fountain pens. Oh - and the True Teal ink cartridges match this spot on!"

Pen Cap and Body Do Not Flow Together

"The pen I got had a cap with gorgeous swirls on it but the body of the pen only had one “spot” with the rest of it being quite plain. The cap reminded me of the Classic Majesty fountain pen but I did not think the body of the pen flowed well with it. I contacted customer service and they were willing to exchange my pen for another one of the same but I bought this pen to replace my first luxury pen that unfortunately broke in an unexpected fall. I figured I waited long enough for my “replacement” pen and although this pen stick out from my other True Writers in the sense that the cap and body do not flow together, I do love the color and I accept this as a unique pen. Other than that the craftsmanship is still fine and it’s a good pen. It just looks a bit odd. I will say that the way this blue shimmers is absolutely stunning and I would still be willing to buy another one just to see what it looks like and because I believe it would make a great gift. If you are on the fence about buying this pen just go for it! It’s beautiful and writes well. If you have any problems the Levenger customer service team is very helpful!"

Unbelievably Beautiful

"As the title says, this is something truly special. How do you make an acrylic look that good? If you haven't noticed yet, I am talking about the Larimar Blue True Writer from Levenger. Outstanding is an understatement. The color seems to be alive in a soft kind of way. It's not a powder blue, possibly a bit akin to a sky blue with that "something extra" that sets it a step or two above other penns in my collection. This even ranks above some of the other True Writers I have and that can take some doing. Better than most Italian acrylics and truly something to have in your hand. All the good things expected of a Levenger pen and this will write. Use a little TLC to get the best experience out of the nib and you will have a great writer that will turn heads every time it comes out of your shirt pocket or pen case. Love it!"

Love the pen

"I love the color and the feel of this pen. It writes well, had a little trouble getting the ink to flow in the first cartridge but things got better with another cartridge. I love seeing it on my desk!"

I Love My First Fountain Pen

"I am loving this pen, my first fountain pen. I have only used it with a cartridge so far, but I'm looking forward to using the converter so I can use different ink colors. I am getting the hang of getting the ink flowing after a few days of not being used."
