Great addition

"Exactly what I wanted. I can place my iPad with text on the upper shelf and a notebook below to take notes. Or use to read a large art book or atlas. Very solid construction and easy to assemble."

Poor Product - Editors Desk

"Very poor quality and almost nonexistent directions for putting it together. If the other products are like this I will not be order any thing else in the furniture department. Not what I had expected for $200. But it out of the box and sort of put together I was just about ready to throw all the pieces in the box and ship it back. Does not seem very sturdy at all. Very disappointed."

Need Instructions

"It came disassembled and there is one sheet that identifies parts and contains 3 general images. I need a pdf of assembly instructions. Thank you"

Not assembled but happy I have it!!

"I have not opened and assembled my editor’s desk, but I am certain I will love it. I’ll come back and review it when I do. I’ve wanted it for a long time so I can paint or draw while I look at photos on my iPad. It is difficult to find something like this, and I love that there is a plastic protector."

"The smallest portion of wood (out of 3) that points downwards not the portion that points upwards with the oblong hole is hard to secure due to awkward design regardless IF you use a phillips manual screwdriver or powered drill. Waiting to give to a friend’s husband to hopefully be able to fully screw in the phillips screws for needed stability"

Functional with some quality issues

"Functional design. There aren’t a lot of other options out there right now that combine a sloped surface with a book stand. The editor’s desk has a few minor quality issues. The wood surface arrived with small nicks. The clear mat was not cut square. Some of the pre-drilled screw holes were loose (I suspect some kind of mdf or other engineered wood beneath the veneer. A bit of sawdust and glue squirted in the pre-drilled holes fixed the looseness). Minor issues, but not up to my expectations of Levenger or reflective of the item’s price."

Great but have a few suggestions

"Works quite well for my needs. Would have given it a 5 star had the plastic writing pad fit perfectly and did not move around on the wooden surface. What I would love to see in an update are 1) the ability to not have a roll stop; and 2) an adjustable writing angle."

An Old Friend

"This is my third! I have used these Editor's desks for over a decade. . More than just for books or tablets and phones. When I purchased my first, tablets didn't exist. They last forever, pass them down to your adult children. You will love the touch of non slip, see through pad. Perfect for home and office!"

Great Tool

"This is a great asset to those needing better angles with which to do their work."

Very well made. Beautiful wood.

"Very well made. Beautiful wood. Negatives: Too large and cumbersome for my use on table or desk. Hard to store when not in use. Would have been more accessible if it was foldable flat. Being its size and shape doesn't fit on a shelf or closet. I find myself moving it from place to place as it gets in the way. Unfortunate as it is beautiful wood, I see it getting disfigured from too much movement."
