Great Guide to keep you on track!

"This serves as a Great Guide to keep you on track as you build your novel—whether it’s your first book or you have dozens under your belt! By providing open ended questions that could be answered in a multitude of ways, the author does not lead you in only one direction, but instead pries open past memories and long forgotten moments, which in turn can become the basis for some of your best characters, primary or secondary. If you use the guide fully, your writing will benefit because it forces you to stay more organized as you write and ask yourself important questions about the logic in your story as you go along. Digging deep and finding the answers is not always easy, but in the end, it will make for a better book! I encourage you to go for it!"

I am loving my new

"I am loving my new purchase! It is really making me think deeply about how I want my short story/novel to go. Genre, characters, direction. It has depth, while being wrapped in pretty packaging! Excellent product!!"

A Great way to organize A First Novel

"This is a solid, coherent and thoughtful way to assist a new author in putting thoughts down on paper. It is comprehensive, covering the details of character and plot development. It reminds the budding author of the importance of organizing your thoughts before fleshing out the details in order to ensure that thoughts flow in an orderly fashion."

Novel plotting pages

"This book is like so many others BUT what it does include is PLOTTING pages - no more sticky notes on a board, or in Scrivener, or losing a note. I've never seen this before in a writing note book and greatly appreciate the inclusion. You'll need to make more copies depending on the length of your book, FYI but with Circa just cut and put them in!"

A printable would be nice!

"This book looks interesting but at $50, it's too steep for me. Also not a fan of disc bound notebooks. If there was a downloadable printable for a fraction of the cost, I'd consider purchasing."

Not worth the money

"There is far to basic for anyone who has thought seriously about writing a novel. For example, there's a long section about choosing the genre you want to write in. If you're thinking about writing a novel, that's probably something you don't need help with. You know! There are pages and pages of "help" with names and settings and titles. But perhaps the most ludicrous are the pages of "storyboards." This isn't an exercise in creating TV commercials. Much more helpful would have been sample plot templates, or exercises in raising tension and stakes. I am sorry I bought one of these for my niece, who is smarter than this, and equally sorry I bought one for myself."
