Solid wood, but quality control is lacking

"The wood is solid, but there were many small flaws that left me disappointed. The main issue is that the drawer pull is chipped at the top, so it is quite noticeable. There is also a bright line, at the joint between the base and the body of the box, to the right of the pen drawer, probably just due to inconstancies in the finishing, but it is distracting nonetheless. In other spots, there are a few instances of glue residue remaining on the body of the piece and a few minor nicks. Overall I feel that a cheaper piece from a different vendor might be a better value."

Good evening, Are the two compartments on the outside of the five presented large enough to hold a bottle of ink?
Yes, the compartment on the end are meant for ink bottles which measures 2 ¾”w x 3 ¼”D x 2 1/2H.
