Use instead of cartridges

"I got this to use instead of the cartridges when I run out. I got it to use with the Lamy gift set. Haven’t had a chance to actually try it yet but it looks like it’s the right one and will fit my pen."

Can't wait for my cartridge

"Can't wait for my cartridge to run out so I can install my Safari converter"

Perfect for bottled ink

"These converters are great for the Safari/ AL-Star fountain pens. They are easy to use and allow you to choose from hundreds of colors of bottled ink."

Great for using other colors of ink.

"Have an assortment of Lamy pens in different colors and nibs and use them frequently. Especially like the extra fine nibs and wish the True Writer pens came with that size. It's nice to be able to not limit yourself to the colors of the cartridges so I now have two converters for variety."

Recommended by a fountain pen fanatic

"I have a large collection of pens, including several fountain pens that I use daily. I also have several colors of bottled ink, so purchased this adapter for my new Lamy fountain pen. I can fill the adapter directly from the ink bottle--no messy droppers or ink syringes needed! Note that the reservoir is smaller than the long Lamy ink cartridges, so keep an ink bottle or spare cartridge nearby if you do a lot of writing or note-taking."

Q&A

How do you fill the converter? I tried twisting the top after dipping it in the ink jar, but it doesn’t fill!
The converter should have the plunger all the way down in the empty position and the tip needs to be plunged into the ink. Once submerged into the ink, you then screw the plunger up to fill the converter. If you continue to have issues please call our call center for assistance.
