Beautiful lamp, but. . . .
"Not the fault of Stiffel, because they packed this lamp extremely well and it was marked which side was up and FRAGILE which apparently went unheeded by the carrier. Unpacking it is not a one-person job. One of the two needs to be strong and tenacious. The top portion of the lamp (above the "table" ) was askew. Thankfully, my husband was able to rescrew it back in. It's still a bit off kilter, but not much, and turthfully---my floors aren't perfectly level. I didn't care for the lampshade (too wide and open - thus making the light too bright for my reading at night in a darkened room) so I swapped it for another Stiffel lampshade I wasn't using that is more tapered. It's beautiful and I love the little "sidecar" table with charging feature - which I use for my phone, kindle, and earpods. I think the lampshade is charming looking; but too midcentury for my LR furniture."
