Handcrafted in Germany and engineered for high performance, this iridium-tipped stainless steel nib is designed expressly for our True Writer Select Fountain Pens (not currently available). Fine: Renders a line width of approximately 0.6 mm; ideal for calculations, editing and small writing. Medium: Renders a line width of approximately 0.8 mm; perfect for most longhand writing tasks. Broad: Renders a line width of approximately 1.0 mm; favored for document signing and calligraphy.

This was the 2nd nib

"This was the 2nd nib I received for the True Writer Fountain Pen. Neither it nor the one that came with the pen worked. Ink did not flow through the nib and it rendered the pen, which I like because of its shape and weight, useless. The good people at Levenger made things right and I then bought a Visconti Van Gogh pen. It looks great and writes perfectly. Thanks to Levenger for making things right and selling Visconti pens."

firm nib writes like a fine

"I purchased the medium nib to complement the Select True Writer pen with the fine nib. I found both very firm,stiff, and the line was at least a size smaller than marked. To the credit the nibs are both smooth writers."

Q&A

Thank you for your reply! I understand this nib is for a fountain pen, but would it fit also in the barrel and cap of the True Writer Select rollerball? I own a Select roller ball and would be nice to be able to use it also as fountain pen on occasion. From the images on your site and elsewhere they look the same size, but cannot be sure.
No it would not work using the nib in a rollerball pen, it doesn't have the required coupling for it.
Would this nib section fit a Select rollerball barrel and cap (screw on type, not magnetic)?
The nib is only for a fountain pens
How do I remove the nib in my current pen and install this new nib
the nib can be unscrewed from the coupling on the pen.
