"This box is well-made and the perfect size to swallow a writing pad with a padded cover installed. The elastic bands hold pens and accessories in the lid, keeping everything organized. Even the hardware (handle, hinges, and latches) are nicely made. My wife is happy with it."

"I’ve been buying Levenger products for 10+ years and have never been disappointed. This box is no exception. It’s sturdy, roomy, and I love all the elastic in the lid to securely hold writing instruments and other little tools. If I have a negative, it’s the hardware. The handle and the latches both feel disappointingly fragile to me, but we’ll see!"

NOT WORTH THE $$$

"I purchased the Writer’s Traveling Tool Box as a gift. I’m glad I opened it to put in a nicer gift box. I did not find a meticulously crated box. I found a box made in China with the lining (cheap thin cardboard with a cheap fabric glued to it) completely ripped away from the case. This box is NOT WORTH $175. Even with the discount that brought the price down to $125 it’s still not worth it. The cardboard lining is just glued to the interior. Very disappointed. Levenger wants me to pay for the return shipping of this faulty made item. Ridiculous. I do not recommend!"
